A Five-program Model Kasigau Wildlife Conservancy’s work and impact for 2026–2030 is grounded on five interconnected strategic programs. 1. Wild Kasigau: Biodiversity & Corridor Conservation Program Protecting the migratory routes and the species that depend on the landscape through monitoring, anti-poaching, and research. 2. Green Kasigau: Climate Resilience, Carbon + Landscapes Program Expanding tree cover, water access, and climate-smart training to strengthen resilience. 3. Kasigau Livelihoods Innovation Program (KLIP) Supporting enterprises such as beef fattening, fodder production, beekeeping, and youth employment initiatives. 4. Kasigau Resilience & Coexistence Program (KRCP) Promoting peaceful coexistence between people and wildlife through scholarships, conflict mitigation, and land rights. 5. Kasigau Tourism & Cultural Heritage Program (KTNEP) Creating eco-tourism and cultural experiences, including the Kiwanjani Safari Camp and the Kasigau Cultural Centre. Our Impact Land Protection Over 52,305 acres of land under protection. Water Access Over 50,000 people now have access to clean water. Carbon Credit Income Over 4,000 local landowners receive income from carbon credits. Education Support Over 100 scholarships given local students in secondary and post-secondary level; 30 classrooms built or renovated. Development Beneficiaries More than 116,000 local community beneficiaries of jobs, water projects, and development initiatives.
