Protecting Wildlife. Restoring Ecosystems. Securing the Future.
Conservation is the foundation of everything at Kasigau. The conservancy actively protects wildlife and habitats within a critical ecological corridor that supports movement between Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Mkomazi.
Ranger teams operate daily across the landscape, conducting patrols, responding to threats, and maintaining a constant presence that deters illegal activities. Wildlife monitoring systems track key species, including elephants, providing data that informs protection strategies and long-term planning.
A Secure and Thriving Kasigau
Habitat restoration is ongoing, with efforts focused on regenerating degraded areas, strengthening forest cover, and maintaining ecological balance. These activities are reinforced by strong community participation, where local residents play an active role in conservation awareness and stewardship.
This programme ensures that Kasigau remains a secure and thriving habitat for wildlife while sustaining the ecological systems that support life across the region.
